Request for advance approval to utilize other government contracts.

BACKGROUND:
On September 20, 2022, the Board of Supervisors provided advance approval to procure services
and/or materials utilizing other government contracts for Fiscal Year 2022/2023. The approval did
not include the government contract referenced below.
• Sourcewell Contract No. 091521-NAF(Cars, Trucks,Vans, SUVs, Cab Chassis, & Other
Vehicles) and 060920-NAF (Class 4-8 Chassis with Related Equipment) — Staff budgeted
for the purchase of a 2023 GMS Sierra 3500HD REG CAB Chassis 4WD DRW 60"CA Work
Truck. As the result of a competitive solicitation, this vehicle is available for purchase through
a Sourcewell contract.
