Please EVENTS remember to stay hydrated and when needed seek shelter in a cool place. The start of August means some of our colleagues will be sending our children back to school and many Holidays of us will be preparing our high school graduates for the next stage in their life. Although our children may be in different stages of their lives and headed in different directions, one Labor Day thing is certain, we all have the same heartfelt hope that they make good decisions and Monday,September 4th remain safe. (office closed) With the new school year, we will be opening the High School Internship Program for high = Employee school juniors or seniors in the Clay County District Schools. The internship provides d opportunities for young people to work with CCUA while learning valuable skills. The intent Health &Wellness Fair o Thursday,August 31st is to teach, mentor, and grow the next generation of the CCUA team that will carry forward our mission of serving our customers. Open Enrollment ugust 31st to September 7th Fall means college football returns! I always enjoy the trash talk between our favorite college teams.All in good fun! As you are aware we recently completed the transition of the retirement plan duties to MissionSquare. Jeff Wesselman, our Chief Financial Officer, verified all funds were accounted for in the transition. Initially, there was some miscommunication between [L[ANOII[005[V[1. MissionSquare & staff regarding the plan documents. However, we worked quickly to resolve the issue. We took great care to make sure CCUA's Retirement Plan was set up with you in mind and consistent with IRS rules and guidelines. You will see more information related to CCUA's Retirement Plan benefit in the coming weeks and months. As we move through August and into September, please remain vigilant as these months are the peak of the Atlantic Hurricane Season.
