BACKGROUND: On October 5, 2021, the Clay County Utility Authority (CCUA) Board of Supervisors provided advance approval utilizing other government contracts. The approval did not include the government contract referenced below. Staff conducted a price analysis for this purchase and requests authorization to use State of Florida, Department of Management Services(DMS)Mail Processing Equipment Contract No.44102100- 17-1 to purchase the DL200 Letter Opener. BUDGET: co °' Staff budgeted $3,000 for the purchase of a DL200 Letter Opener in the departmental capital o budget. Staff researched this equipment under the noted DMS Contract. Staff can purchase the E equipment within the amount budgeted. z a, ce RECOMMENDATION: Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors advance approval for use of the following government contracts in fiscal year 2021/2022 for planned and budgeted purchases. 1.
