RE: Request Rate Study Workshop for April 19, 2022, from noon to 2 p.m.
The Clay County Utility Authority (CCUA) staff and CDM Smith team initiated the rate study
effort. The scope of services includes review of CCUA's rate structure and development of
alternative rate structures. Staff and the CDM Smith team request a workshop with the Board of
Supervisors on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, from noon to 2 p.m. We intend the purpose of this
workshop is to discuss and receive direction from the Board of Supervisors in the development of
the rate study.
We will provide lunch as part of this workshop because we intend to work through the lunch hour.
We will also conclude the workshop in sufficient time to begin the regularly scheduled Board of
Supervisors meeting at 2 p.m.
