RE: Operational Performance Measures, February 2022
We have completed our analysis of the February 2022 Water Treatment & Water Reclamation
Treatment costs. Based on that review, we offer the following observations:
Water Department Treatment Costs
February 2022
Total Water Demand: 317.103 MG
Costs: $208,520.35
Water Reclamation Treatment Costs
February 2022
Total Flows: 178.26 MG
Costs: $708,231.54
Due to a February having only 28 days and less than average rainfall, wastewater flows were lower
than in a typical month.
Chemical costs have increased, which is impacting treatment costs. CCUA is evaluating possible
adjustment of the FY 21-22 goal.
Gravity Sewer Pipe Inspection
CCUA's inspection crew inspected an average of 557 linear feet (LF)per day in February.
