AGENDA ITEM:
Request for advance approval to utilize other government contracts.
BACKGROUND:
On October 5, 2021, the Clay County Utility Authority (CCUA) Board of Supervisors provided
advance approval to procure services and/or materials utilizing other government contracts for Fiscal
Year 2021/2022. Staff did not include the contracts identified below and they were not included in the
previous advanced requests.
Staff has budgeted for the following purchases and seeks approval to add the following referenced
contracts to the approved list of other government contracts:
1. Sourcewell Technology Contract No. 081419 (Software House International #081419-SHI,
Connection #081419-GVC, CDW Government #081419-CDW) - Staff has budgeted for the
following purchases: a). Fortinet FortiGate Security Appliance (firewalls) with services to
include execution of a defined test plan to verify implementation and configuration of the
-a hardware,and software,to test specific functionality,and to document the system configuration
before turning over to the IT Department. b). Darktrace Cyber Security Platform which
interrupts in-progress cyber-attacks in seconds, including ransomware, e-mail phishing, and
° threats to cloud environments and critical infrastructure.This platform helps the IT Department
3 detect and respond to cyberattacks or cybersecurity events.After conducting a market analysis,
Staff discovered this competitively solicited contract which is awarded to three (3) Suppliers
offered the best overall pricing and value.
2. General Services Administration(GSA) Contract No. GS-35F-0639P—Staff has budgeted for
the renewal of the existing Onsolve Annual Service Agreement for the purchase of Call Credits
to send SMS text message reminders,general text notifications,mass calling to mobile devices,
text message alert systems for emergencies, employee and staff notifications, as well as other
custom applications.
3. General Services Administration (GSA) Contract No. 47QTCA2100BD— Staff has budgeted
for IT Staff Augmentation Services for various projects.Z7 Solutions will provide professional
services to assist the IT Department with VMware Horizon (VDI) infrastructure work to
include update from Horizon 7 to Horizon 8.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors advance approval for utilization of the following
government contracts in fiscal year 21/22 for planned and budgeted purchases.

2. General Services Administration(GSA) Contract No. GS-35F-0639P
3. General Services Administration(GSA) Contract No. 47QTCA2100BD
