The National EVENTS Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) predicts an "above normal" Hurricane season. We are already receiving notifications regarding possible systems developing near Mexico. If you have not done so already, please complete the annual Employee Yoga Hurricane Survey as accurately as possible as we will use the data to determine staff coverage.As an essential public service, we may require certain staff to work during office une 2nd, 9th, 16th, & 23rd closures or immediately following a storm event as part of an emergency storm response. -`a CCUA Board Room/5:15 PM We recommend planning before a tropical storm is on the horizon. We are committed to ensuring wages remain May 28th - June 10th competitive,fair, and equitable. We continue working tirelessly to research, create, and implement programs that increase staff satisfaction and promote career development. We are finalizing the initial Father's Day Professional Development and Training Program (PDTP). We will present the PDTP for June 19th BOS consideration and approval on June 7th. If approved, we intend to pilot the program in the D&C, Water, and Wastewater departments for select positions. Additionally, we revised, formalized, and presented to the BOS on May 3, 2022, the High By the time a man realizes School Internship Program. We consider this will be another step in the right direction. With alternative work schedules, we cannot lose sight of the people customers we serve.
