Some claims are filed in an abundance of caution for record purposes only, should the claimant decide to
pursue a claim at a later date or in lieu of possible excessive costs.
Minor claims, like damage from main breaks are often handled under the Utility Authority's "No Fault"
coverage which allows for consideration up to $10,000 for the claimant's damages. Other claims are
handled under the standard coverage.
