HomeMy WebLinkAboutCA Approval to Add Contracts Guidepoint Security and Amazon Business EXECUTIVE SUMMARY AGENDA ITEM: Request for advance approval to utilize other government contracts. BACKGROUND: On October 5, 2021, the Clay County Utility Authority (CCUA) Board of Supervisors provided advance approval to procure services and/or materials utilizing other government contracts for Fiscal Year 2021/2022. Staff has budgeted for the following purchases and seeks approval to add the following referenced contracts to the approved list of other government contracts: 1. General Services Administration(GSA) Contract No. GS-35F-508CA— Staff has budgeted for consulting to support the IT Department. This contract will allow the IT Department to work with Guidepoint Security on several cybersecurity initiatives. The most critical effort is to ensure that CCUA is ready to meet the requirement to comply with the standards in the -a Nataional Institute of Standards and Technology(NIST)Cybersecurity Framework as required a by the recently enacted Florida HB 7055. co ° 2. Omnia Contract No. MA3457— Staff has budgeted for office supplies and material for c 3 various departments. Amazon Business will provide an online tool to purchase office supplies ce and material at a discounted rate for government entities. RECOMMENDATION: Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors advance approval for utilization of the following government contracts for planned and budgeted purchases. 1. General Services Administration(GSA)Contract No. GS-35F-508CA-Guidepoint Security,LLC. 2. Omnia Contract No. MA3457-Amazon Business //AW(Author) //AW,DS(Review) //JW(Final)
