AGENDA ITEM:
Request for advance approval to utilize other government contracts.
BACKGROUND:
On September 20, 2022, Clay County Utility Authority (CCUA) Board of Supervisors provided
advance approval to procure services and/or materials utilizing other government contracts for
Fiscal Year 2022/2023. The approval did not include the government contracts referenced below.
Staff has budgeted for the following purchases and seeks approval to add the following referenced
contracts to the approved list of other government contracts:
1. Sourcewell New and Used Construction and Paving Equipment, Parts, and Service
Contract No. 032119-CAT. Staff has budgeted for the purchase of a 908 Wheel Loader.
2. Sourcewell Facility Security Systems Contract No. 030421-SCS. Staff has budgeted for
the purchase of equipment and ancillary services for CCUA Facilities Security Systems to
cz include but not to be limited to, systems for surveillance, access control, intrusion/breach
c detection, fire detection and warning, fire suppression, building automation, security gate
control, and(where applicable)monitoring services associated with such systems. Stanley
Convergent Security Solutions offers the best overall pricing and value.

3. General Services Administration (GSA) Scientific Management and Solutions Equipment

Contract No. GS-07F-0078U— Staff has budgeted for the purchase of ground penetrating
radar equipment for scientific endeavor and to inspect infrastructure. After conducting a
market analysis, Staff discovered this formally solicited contract awarded to Geophysical
Survey Systems, Inc. Geographical Survey Systems, Inc. (GSSI) offers the best overall
pricing and value.
4. National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (NCPA) Cloud Administrative Solutions
Contract No. 01-103 — Staff has budgeted for the purchase of an Enterprise Resource
Planning platform.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors advance approval for utilization of the
following government contracts in fiscal year 22/23 for planned and budgeted purchases.
1. Sourcewell Contract No. 032119-CAT
2. Sourcewell Contract No. 030421-SCS
3. General Services Administration(GSA) Contract No. GS-07F-0078U
4. NCPA Cloud Administrative Solutions Contract No. 01-103
