AGENDA ITEM:
Request for financing of Developer Agreement charges for water and wastewater service to
2723 Greenwood Lane, Middleburg, Clay County, Florida.
BACKGROUND:
CCUA staff received the attached financing request from Ms. Rosa Gomez, who is requesting
the Board of Supervisors' approval to finance the Developer Agreement charges of$7,580.70
for water and wastewater service at the above-referenced property, under our normal financing
arrangements, for a period of ten (10) years. As stated in the request, Ms. Gomez is unable to
afford such a large expense in one lump sum payment due to the recent purchase of her home
and subsequent depletion of her savings.
RECOMMENDATION:
Due to limited risk, staff respectfully recommends approval of Ms. Gomez's request to finance
g the Developer Agreement charges of $7,580.70. CCUA has granted similar terms to other
° property owners. In addition, CCUA has lien rights as Ms. Gomez holds title to the subject
property. This assures CCUA will recover the principal and accrued interest in the event of a
default.
