Good morning Ms. Ibe,
After a hiatus due to COVID, CCUA's internship program resumed this year with approval by our Board of Supervisors. In
a collaborative partnership with Clay County District Schools, we were able to provide incoming Clay County High School
juniors and seniors a hands-on, paid internship honing their skills needed for a career in the utility industry.
The internship program is an eight-month program that runs from October to June (August if approved by the Executive
Director). This calendar year's program is ongoing with selected applicants.Applications are accepted between August
and September of each school year. However, program information will be available as early as spring.
If you or someone you know is interested in applying for CCUA's High School Internship, please reach out to your high
school guidance counselor or CTE Coordinator for more information.
