Update regarding The Governor's Park and Peters Creek Facilities.
Date: February 17, 2023
BACKGROUND:
Staff previously reported on the receipt of Governors Park and Peters Creek Facilities bids for
three of four major components on December 19 and December 21, 2022. At the January 3, 2023,
Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board approved to the following for the three actions:
• Governor's Park Site Civil Work—Award to low bidder.
• Governor's Park Water Treatment Plant—Reject Bids.
• Peters Creek Wastewater Reclamation Facility &Pipelines—Defer action.
Staff worked extensively with the project teams to ensure CCUA receives cost effective solutions
to serve the county's growing population. The project teams remain focused on project delivery
co time frames. Staff continues to communicate with stakeholders regarding progress on these

Staff intends to bring the contract documents to the Board of Supervisors for consideration at the
cMarch 7th meeting. Staff will request for Board of Supervisor action at that time.
