Executive Director's Message
UPCOMING February has arrived. We are now well into the second quarter of the fiscal year.
EVENTS Everyone is incredibly busy and doing a great job!
We recently conducted CCUA's first annual Hurricane Disaster Planning and Response
Upcoming Holidays Workshop. We are capitalizing on the lessons learned from Hurricane Ian and making
&Office Closures significant strides in planning in the event a significant storm impacts our service area.
From the workshop and the input received, we will be preparing policy updates and
President's Day recommendations for consideration by the Board of Supervisors.
Monday - 2/20 I'd like to express my appreciation and gratitude to everyone who participated in the
Hurricane Disaster Planning and Response Workshop. I believe the workshop proved
litto be a great team building exercise. I was impressed by the leadership and expertise
demonstrated by everyone. I came away from the workshop with a strong sense of
PRESDIDENTS confidence in our team's ability to lead, coordinate, and manage a significant storm
response and recovery effort.
Next, I want to recognize the Wastewater, Water, Environmental Compliance, and
Blood Drive Distribution & Collection Departments for an impressive level of teamwork. We faced
Friday - 2/17 significant challenges with a recent inspection by the Florida Department of
8AM to 12PM Environmental Protection (FDEP). The entire team rallied together to address issues

additional parking spaces for employees and customers. We expect the construction
process to take approximately 12 months. While the construction will undoubtedly

As many of you are aware, CCUA will be transitioning from its legacy information systems
to a robust Enterprise Management System "ERP". An ERP is an application software
package that helps organizations manage various software tasks to achieve their software New Employees
needs in real-time. Over the next 62 weeks staff will be coordinating with Collaborative Welcome:
Solutions, an integration consultant, to introduce three new systems; Workday, SpryPoint,
and InvoiceCloud and ensure a smooth transition. Chad LeBlanc
Workday Utility Mechanic
We will be replacing our current financial system with Workday Financial Management. The
innovative technology will provide more power to staff to respond to organizational, David Hornback
business process, and reporting changes as they occur. Workday captures details from Customer Service Rep
every financial transaction—including the who, what, where, and why to keep staff
informed across the organization, not just the Finance department. Krystal Whitsett
Customer Service Rep
The new platform will also replace the current human resources platform with Workday
Human Capital Management "HCM". HCM will affect everyone at CCUA as is encompasses Evan McGauley
time cards, PTO request, and benefit enrollment. HCM is a single source for data and a Wastewater Operator
single user experience. The cloud based system delivers information and transaction
flexibility to employees and managers, and provides the infrastructure to improve CCUA's Brandon Fields
to overall effectiveness and efficiency. An intuitive mobile app will allow employees to access Help Desk Technician
information, learning resources, and conduct HR transactions anytime, anywhere.
Melissa Emery
SpryPoint Customer Service Rep
We will be replacing our current customer service and billing platform with SpryPoint. The
SpryPoint platform will provide a new customer information and utility billing system and
improve customer engagement. The new platform will provide customers with a seamless
experience, where information pertaining to their accounts is not only accessible in one
portal but easily understood.
The new platform will also provide mobile field service tickets, asset management
capability, cross connection control, and outage response. Whether it be notifications for
outages, collection, infrastructure repair, high usage or customer service surveys - the
SpryPoint Alerts and Notification platform will integrate with CCUA's back-office systems
to allow prompt customer contact.
InvoiceCloud
InvoiceCloud will provide a complete, simple, and secure electronic bill presentment and
payment solution for CCUA customers. The SaaS platform provides flexible and always-up-
to-date online payment solutions that can be configured to meet the needs of our
organization. The interface is easy to use and engages customers throughout the payment
process.
The transition to the new ERP will require coordination, time, and patience from everyone;
however, we are confident these systems will provide significant benefits for CCUA in the
future.
