EVENTS Everyone is incredibly busy and doing a great job! We recently conducted CCUA's first annual Hurricane Disaster Planning and Response Upcoming Holidays Workshop. We are capitalizing on the lessons learned from Hurricane Ian and making &Office Closures significant strides in planning in the event a significant storm impacts our service area. From the workshop and the input received, we will be preparing policy updates and President's Day recommendations for consideration by the Board of Supervisors. Monday - 2/20 I'd like to express my appreciation and gratitude to everyone who participated in the Hurricane Disaster Planning and Response Workshop. I believe the workshop proved litto be a great team building exercise. I was impressed by the leadership and expertise demonstrated by everyone. I came away from the workshop with a strong sense of PRESDIDENTS confidence in our team's ability to lead, coordinate, and manage a significant storm response and recovery effort. Next, I want to recognize the Wastewater, Water, Environmental Compliance, and Blood Drive Distribution & Collection Departments for an impressive level of teamwork. The building expansion will provide much needed LINCOLN office and meeting space, including space for the SCADA system we are planning to I implement in the coming years, rehabilitation of the existing parking areas and additional parking spaces for employees and customers. We expect the construction process to take approximately 12 months. While the construction will undoubtedly cause some stress for us all, I think we will consider the results worth the wait. Ed. Invoice�,foud Austin Gahl Operator,WW As many of you are aware, CCUA will be transitioning from its legacy information systems to a robust Enterprise Management System "ERP". An ERP is an application software package that helps organizations manage various software tasks to achieve their software New Employees needs in real-time. Over the next 62 weeks staff will be coordinating with Collaborative Welcome: Solutions, an integration consultant, to introduce three new systems; Workday, SpryPoint, and InvoiceCloud and ensure a smooth transition. Chad LeBlanc Workday Utility Mechanic We will be replacing our current financial system with Workday Financial Management.The innovative technology will provide more power to staff to respond to organizational, David Hornback business process, and reporting changes as they occur. Workday captures details from Customer Service Rep every financial transaction—including the who, what, where, and why to keep staff informed across the organization, not just the Finance department. Krystal Whitsett Customer Service Rep The new platform will also replace the current human resources platform with Workday Human Capital Management "HCM". HCM will affect everyone at CCUA as is encompasses Evan McGauley time cards, PTO request, and benefit enrollment. HCM is a single source for data and a Wastewater Operator single user experience. The cloud based system delivers information and transaction flexibility to employees and managers, and provides the infrastructure to improve CCUA's Brandon Fields to overall effectiveness and efficiency. An intuitive mobile app will allow employees to access Help Desk Technician information, learning resources, and conduct HR transactions anytime, anywhere. Melissa Emery SpryPoint Customer Service Rep We will be replacing our current customer service and billing platform with SpryPoint. The SpryPoint platform will provide a new customer information and utility billing system and improve customer engagement. The new platform will provide customers with a seamless experience, where information pertaining to their accounts is not only accessible in one portal but easily understood. The new platform will also provide mobile field service tickets, asset management capability, cross connection control, and outage response. Whether it be notifications for outages, collection, infrastructure repair, high usage or customer service surveys - the SpryPoint Alerts and Notification platform will integrate with CCUA's back-office systems to allow prompt customer contact. InvoiceCloud InvoiceCloud will provide a complete, simple, and secure electronic bill presentment and payment solution for CCUA customers. The SaaS platform provides flexible and always-up- to-date online payment solutions that can be configured to meet the needs of our organization. The interface is easy to use and engages customers throughout the payment process. The transition to the new ERP will require coordination, time, and patience from everyone; however, we are confident these systems will provide significant benefits for CCUA in the future.
