RFQ 22-23-A21 Geotechnical Engineering and Testing Professional Services EXECUTIVE SUMMARY AGENDA ITEM: Summary of RFQ NO. 2022/2023-A21 Recommended Selection of the Geotechnical Engineering and Testing Professional Services RFQ NO. 2022/2023-A21. Date: July 27, 2023 BACKGROUND: CCUA Staff requests approval from the Board of Supervisors to approve the ranking of the firms that submitted proposals to provide continuing professional Geotechnical Engineering and Testing Professional services. The contracts will allow the consultant to provide CCUA with specialty services related to field soil sampling,testing,foundation design drawings,details,reports, studies, investigations, engineering documents, specifications, and other related services. The term of the existing geotechnical engineering and testing continuing contracts is due to expire on September 30, 2023. CCUA staff requires services as outlined in the request for proposal from time to time Ks as our utility continues to grow. c a) Staff advertised the project on CCUA's Bonfire Procurement Platform Florida Times Union on c June 1,2023,for consultants interested in providing a variety of professional geotechnical services c on an as needed basis. r ll cc EVALUATION: On June 29, 2023, staff received six(6)responses to the RFQ,which were subsequently evaluated and scored by the project evaluation committee.
