Executive Director's Message
UPCOMING We begin to look for relief from the summer heat with the arrival of September. Hopefully,
EVENTS everyone enjoyed a wonderful Labor Day holiday weekend.
Holidays Football has returned, many of us look forward to cheering on our favorite college and/or
pro team. Looks like a lot of great teams and games will be on display this season. The
Labor Day Jaguars performance is looking hopeful. Alabama and Georgia look as formidable as ever.
Monday, 09/04/2023 Florida State appears to have returned to an elite level of competition. Unfortunately, Gator
(office closed) fans are already saying there is always next year after the beating in Utah.

c Employee Just prior to Labor Day, we experienced Hurricane Idalia. Everyone did an excellent job in
aHealth &Wellness Fair preparing for and responding to the storm event. Thank you to everyone for your

'a� Open Enrollment Our team again rose to the occasion to help a community in need after Hurricane Idalia
cc 9/08/2023 - 09/15/2023 tore through the area. We sent a disaster response team to assist the Town of Jennings with
restoring their utility services. This small community was especially hard hit by excessive
Employee Annual Evaluations wind damage causing many trees to fall.Thank you to the team that traveled to the disaster

Yoga September also marks the end of our fiscal year.Again, everyone did a great job throughout
-dnesdays @ 5:15 PM, CCUA the fiscal year. We submitted our Annual Report to the Board of Supervisors on September
Board Room 5th. Out of the 39 goals we set as an organization, I am very pleased to report we either
accomplished or made significant progress on 36 (93.3%) of those goals. Thank you to
everyone for your efforts. What you do makes a difference for our community and the
people we work with.

Employee Benefit Open Enrollment SPOTLIGHT
The benefit open enrollment window will open Friday, September 8, 2023. All eligible
employees shall enroll via the PlanSource website no later than September 15,2023.
Promotions!
• Open your web browser and enter the following web address:
https://benefits.plansource.com
• Initial of your first name, first 6 letters of your last name, and the last 4 digits of your SSN Ian Larson
(No spaces) Field Service Technician
• Password - Your initial password will be the first 3 letters (first letter capitalized) of your
last name,#sign,and the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number Ex:Abc#1234
Step 1: Review Profile New Employees
The*indicates a required field. Verify your Personal Information; if there are changes,you can Welcome:
modify the information by selecting "Edit Info" at the bottom of the page. Once you have
completed your updates, select "Save". If you need to add a family member to your coverage, Zachary Bombard
select "Next: Review My Family" and add family member. You should verify/add all family Meter Retrofit Tech
members,even if you are not enrolling them.
Step 2:Shop Benefits
Shop each benefit offering, choosing your desired election under the appropriate plan, or
declining the benefit entirely. In order to proceed through each enrollment page, use the
"Shop Plans" button next to the first benefit type. If you elect coverage with family members,
select family members to add to coverage,then click confirm.
Step 3:Checkout
Once you have completed each benefit election,the Confirmation page will appear. Review for Annecia Asberry welcomed
accuracy and choose "Checkout" at the bottom of the page. Your benefit election will not be a beautiful baby girl on
to complete until you hit the"Checkout" button. August 16th
