CCUA, I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to you today with a plea for financial assistance as a
single mother of two wonderful children, one of whom has Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD) and is
non-verbal,while the other has been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD). I
have recently found myself in a challenging situation due to unforeseen circumstances, and I am
reaching out to your organization in the hope that you can offer some support. Until recently, I was
employed in a fulfilling career that provided a stable income of$85,000 per year. However, I was faced
with the difficult decision to resign from my position as I could no longer afford the exorbitant health
insurance plans available through the marketplace, my former workplace, or even through Florida
KidCare.The cost of medical care and therapies for my children, especially my non-verbal child with
ASD, had become overwhelming, leaving me with no other option but to prioritize their well-being
over my own career advancement. My decision to resign was not an easy one, as I firmly believe in the
importance of financial independence and stability. However,the astronomical expenses associated
with my children's special needs, coupled with the absence of affordable healthcare options, have left
