BACKGROUND:
CCUA Pipes,Valves, and Fittings Contract with Ferguson Enterprises,LLC is scheduled to expire
on November 20, 2023. This contact was initiated for the pre-purchase of all yard piping for the
Governor's Park Water Treatment Plant, Governor's Park Reclaimed Pump Station and Lift
Station,and the Peters Creek Water Reclamation Facility,as well as approximately seven(7)miles
of reclaimed transmission and forcemain piping connecting the Governor's Park and Peters Creek
sites. The Governor's Park and Peters Creek Plant projects remain ongoing.
The terms of this contract allows for annual one (1)year renewal options for a period of up to five
(5) years, contingent upon the mutual agreement of both parties. Both parties are interested in
renewing the agreement, with no price increases.
BUDGET:
The materials needed for Governor's Park and Peters Creek Plant projects was included in the
project budgets.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors approve the renewal with Ferguson
Enterprises, LLC for the CCUA Pipes, Valves, and Fittings Contract, ITB #22/23-A01 to be
extended for an additional one (1)year term.

Dear Mr. Pinkston:
The above referenced contract is scheduled to expire on November 20, 2023. However, the terms of this
contract allow for the renewal of an additional year, contingent upon the mutual agreement of both parties.
The new contract period will continue from November 21,2023.If you wish to continue the contract under
the current terms,please sign, date and return this letter to us by October 6,2023,and we will consider this
confirmation of acceptance of the current terms as stated above.
We appreciate your operation and look forward to continuing doing business with you in the coming year.
