*The Emergency Checking Account is not for an emergency expense per say but more for a timing issue. The account was
set up to allow payments between Board meetings in order to avoid down time,hardships or additional fees. Examples:
1. A vehicle purchased and a tag is needed to put it in service.
2. Customer in good standing paid us instead of Clay Electric and needs the refund to pay Clay Electric. The
warrants approved under 6a include the reimbursement to the Emergency Checking Account. This report is to
highlight for you the payment was already made.
