AGENDA ITEM:
Request for financing of Developer Agreement charges for a water service to 8 Neighbors Cove
Road, Orange Park, Clay County, Florida.
BACKGROUND:
CCUA staff received the attached financing request from Ms. Angelene Knight. She is
requesting the Board of Supervisors' approval to finance the Developer Agreement charges of
$3,729.39 for a water service at the above-referenced property, under our normal financing
arrangements, for a period of ten(10)years. Ms.Knight expressed that her well pump continues
to fail and due her limited income and lack of immediate funds, she will need financing
arrangements for the charges associated with the water connection to her property.
RECOMMENDATION:
Due to limited risk, staff respectfully recommends approval of Ms. Knight's request to finance
the Developer Agreement charges of $3,729.39. CCUA has granted similar terms to other
property owners. In addition, CCUA has lien rights as Ms. Knight holds title to the subject
property. This assures CCUA will recover the principal and accrued interest in the event of a
default.

I am on a very tight fixed income due to being disabled and unable to pay out right. Please help me I've bought two
pumps and still no water going on four months.
