KBT(the contractor) is providing construction services for the New Administration Building Expansion
and Site Improvements Project at the Old Jennings Road facility.
Proposed Change Order 3 dated 01/04/2024 is a contract time extension request due to rain delays,
inclement weather and site conditions associated with rain above average.The Proposed Change Order
3 does not have a cost modification listed.
Attached is a report from the National Weather Service indicating recorded precipitation for the
Jacksonville Metro Area. Circled dates were communicated as days requested for consideration.
Highlighted Dates are days with over 0.25 inches of rain. While localized conditions vary,the trend
shows that the requested align with days with abnormally high volumes of precipitation.
Additionally preparations for inclement weather associate with Hurricane Idalia align with the dates
requested at end of August and beginning of September.
