It is my recommendation that this change order request be approved by the Board of Supervisors. Background The performance testing of the Water Treatment Facility was delayed due to the response time from DEP regarding the receipt of clearances from the bacteriological testing performed in mid-November. Due to the delayed response, performance testing could not begin until January 8th,2024. In accordance with Article 12.03.A "Delays" of the Contract General Conditions, PSCC is unable to complete work within the contract times due to delays beyond the control of the contractor."As a result of these delays, PSCC requests a time extension to the contract schedule in the amount of 50 calendar days for final completion only.
