I hope you are doing well.Thank you for your email. Fluoride occurs naturally. I believe your reference to 0.22-0.47 ppm fluoride points to naturally occurring concentrations. I included a link to information from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control(CDC) https://www.cdc.gov/fluoridation/index.html. The State of Florida does not require the addition of fluoride. Because of this,CCUA does not add any form of fluoride during our treatment processes. I also included a link showing CCUA does not add fluoride to the water we provide to customers. https://nccd.cdc.gov/DOH_MWF/Default/WaterSystemList.aspx. Simply click on the State of Florida and select Clay County and you will see none of the water systems in Clay County add fluoride. Clay County benefits from an extremely good water source in the Floridan Aquifer. CCUA aerates source water to remove sulfur and later chlorinates to prevent bacterial growth as we reliably deliver clean and safe drinking water to your home. Our team takes great pride in the safe and reliable water, wastewater, and reclaimed water services we provide to the community we live and work in.We believe in transparency in the work we are doing for the community. We invite you to visit our offices at 3176 Old Jennings Road and a member of our team of highly qualified and experienced professionals will certainly walk you through our different processes and answer your questions related to the Consumer Confidence Report you are likely reviewing.Thank you again for your interest and support involving very important water issues.
