Request for advance approval to utilize other government contracts

BACKGROUND:
On September 19, 2023, the Board of Supervisors provided advance approval to procure services
and/or materials utilizing other government contracts for Fiscal Year 2023/2024. The approval did
not include the government contract referenced below.
• Sourcewell HVAC and Ancillary Services Contract No. 070121-JHN
(Johnson Controls, Inc.)
Staff budgeted the Low-Voltage Wiring,Access Control, and CCTV Camera services for the new
CCUA Administration Building project. As the result of a competitive solicitation, these services
are available for purchase through a Sourcewell contract.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors advance approval for utilization of the
Sourcewell Contract No. 070121-JHN in Fiscal Year 2023/2024 for planned and budgeted
purchases.
