RE: Conserving Clay Leak Detection Results
As you are aware, our staff continues to be very successful in providing proactive customer
outreach to promote conservation and reduce the wasteful use of our valuable drinking water
supply. The 3-day consecutive usage report generated through the Advanced Metering
Infrastructure(AMI)provides data that is very useful in helping our customers identify water leaks
they were not aware of and help them save money. In the process, we not only significantly
increase customer satisfaction, but we also help conserve our water resource.
Conserving Clay has been an important part of our operations since December 2014. Our efforts
from December 2014 to the most current results dated December 2023, have resulted in the
conservation of 360.775 MGAL. We have also helped the 30,011 customers involved save an
average of$57.38 per month on their utility bill.
The graphed examples below illustrate the number of customers we contact monthly and their
average savings resulting from our outreach program.
