BACKGROUND:
The Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement to Moss Kelley, Inc./MKI Services was
advertised to the public on CCUA's Bonfire Procurement Portal for seven (7) business days with no
response. Staff contacted Veolia WTS Services, USDA Inc. which confirmed Moss Kelley, Inc./MKI
Services is the exclusive sole source Representative for Veolia within the State of Florida for purchasing
new products, OEM repair parts, repairs, and maintenance.
CCUA will negotiate a sole-source procurement contract to purchase Water and Wastewater Treatment
Equipment, Maintenance and Repair Services with Moss Kelley, Inc./MKI Services.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors grant sole source status to Moss Kelley, Inc./MKI
Services for the purchase of Water and Wastewater Treatment Equipment, Maintenance and Repair
Services.
