Request for advance approval to utilize other government contracts

BACKGROUND:
On September 19, 2023, the Board of Supervisors provided advance approval to procure services
and/or materials utilizing other government contracts for Fiscal Year 2023/2024. The approval did
not include the government contract referenced below.
• Sourcewell Generac Electrical Energy Power Generation Equipment and Services
Contract No. 092222-GNR. ACF Standby Systems is the State of Florida Authorized
Local Dealer/Representative for Generac Industrial and Commercial Power
Generation Equipment.
Staff budgeted for the purchase of Power Generation Equipment and Services for CCUA facilities.
As the result of a competitive solicitation, the equipment and ancillary services are available for
purchase through a Sourcewell contract.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors advance approval for utilization of the
Sourcewell Contract No. 092222-GNR in Fiscal Year 2023/2024 for planned and budgeted
purchases.
