Request for advance approval to utilize other government contracts

BACKGROUND:
On September 19, 2023, the Board of Supervisors provided advance approval to procure services
and/or materials utilizing other government contracts for Fiscal Year 2023/2024. The approval did
not include the government contract referenced below.
• Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) of Florida Contract No. 43210000-
23-NASPO-ACS (Computer Equipment, Peripherals, and Related Services) — Staff
budgeted for the purchase of laptops and Technology Products.
• Sourcewell Contract No. 121923-SHI (Technology Products & Services) — Staff budgeted
for the purchase of Computer Hardware, Software and Ancillary Technology Products for the
SCADA Department.
As the result of a competitive solicitation,these items are available for purchase through DMS and
Sourcewell contracts.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors advance approval for utilization of DMS
Contract No.43210000-23-NASPO-ACS and Sourcewell Contract No. 121923-SHI in Fiscal Year
2023/2024 for planned and budgeted purchases.
