Good morning Mr. Skirvin,
Thank you for your response! In that case, CCUA will continue to make those implemented adjustments to the
water in your area, as we continue to refine it over the coming weeks.
If in a month you are still noticing the same concern, please reach out to me. If it persists, we would be happy
to take it a step further and set up a home visit to identify any contributing factors.
Please let us know if we can further assist you and do not hesitate to reach out if you do not notice a
difference soon.
Thank you and have a great weekend!ciiNT`

Kasandra,
I appreciate your quick response to my email and your offer for a meeting.
I do have several appointments today, but regardless, I don't think a meeting is needed.
I just wanted you to know what I occasionally notice regarding the water taste.
As I told you, it comes and goes some days more noticeable, other days not.
Perhaps its from the treatment process.
I.
I know and appreciate that CCUA monitors the water quality.
I will be glad to provide a water sample if that would be helpful, but mainly just wanted you to know.
Sincerely,
Jerry Skirvin

I am grateful for regular, clean water supplied by Clay County, but something is not right about the
quality of water in my neighborhood. This may be systemic of the entire Clay County water system or
just our particular sub-station, I don't know. I live on SE 28th Loop and regularly, though not every day,
Questions or the water has a particular, sightly unpleasant taste, that I would describe as "metallic." I would think
Comments: that results from the particular chemicals used to treat the waster. This is not a specific, daily
occurrence, but it does happen regularly. Perhaps your water purity experts could look into this. In the
meantime, I will have to use bottled water for my morning coffee and for my dog's water. That's un-
American. Sincerely,Jerry Skirvin
