Request for advance approval to utilize other government contracts

BACKGROUND:
On September 19, 2023, the Board of Supervisors provided advance approval to procure services
and/or materials utilizing other government contracts for Fiscal Year 2023/2024. The approval did
not include the government contract referenced below.
• Sourcewell Contract No. 080119-SPT Wireless Voice and Data Services,Equipment and
Solutions)—Staff budgeted for the purchase of Remote Lift Station Management Products and
Services for the SCADA Department.
As the result of a competitive solicitation, these items are available for purchase via the
aforementioned Sourcewell contract.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors advance approval for utilization of Sourcewell
Contract No. 080119-SPT in Fiscal Year 2023/2024 for planned and budgeted purchases.
