Enterprise Resource Platforms (ERP) Project Update

UPDATE:
Customers continue to respond and register their accounts through our new customer portal. As of
Thursday,August 29th, the number of customers who activated their accounts in the new customer portal
was 24,447 (44% of all customers). Our AutoPay customers now total 18,502 accounts. In comparison,
prior to the customer portal transition, we had 37,962 customers with an on-line account with CCUA.
Based on the number of previous on-line customers, we have registered 64% of those customers.
We experienced an increase the number of customer contacts regarding the recommencement of service
disconnections. While elevated, the number of customer contacts has not reached the levels experienced
during May, June, and July.
This week we worked through the disconnection of customers for non-payment and failure to establish a
payment plan. We disconnected 825 customers. 295 customers remain disconnected for failure to either
pay their bills or establish a payment plan. The current aging of delinquent accounts is listed below.
➢ 31 to 60 days: $33,268.64
> 61 to 90 days: $22,659.88
➢ 90+ days: $18,536.60
We have 213 customers who have made payment plan arrangements to repay their delinquent balances
within a 6-month period, totaling $109,994.22. These customer balances will be considered aged as 0-30
days as long as their agreed installment payments are made.
We continue to advance technical issues with the SpryPoint team we've experienced with their customer
portal and mobile work order system. SpryPoint is actively working to address these technical issues.
RECOMMENDATION:
Starting this month,our staff will provide updates regarding any future issues arising with the ERP system
during the first meeting of each month. This initiative aims to ensure you are kept informed of any
developments or challenges we encounter. Staff does not have any recommended action items at this time.
