Request Approval of Continuing Contract Renewal with GrayRobinson, P.A. for the Professional
Lobbying Services RFQ No. 2019/2020-A14.

BACKGROUND:
The Continuing Contract for the Professional Lobbying Services RFQ No. 2019/2020-A14 is
scheduled to expire on October 6, 2024. GrayRobinson, P.A., assists staff in the development of
CCUA's annual list of goals,priorities and specific projects in need of funding at the State and/or
Federal level.
The terms of the contract allow for a bi-annual renewal, contingent upon the mutual agreement
between both parties. Both parties are interested in renewing the agreement, with no price
increases.
BUDGET:
Staff budgeted$75,000 for Professional Lobbying Services in the fiscal year 2024/2025 budget.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors approve the Continuing Contract with
GrayRobinson, P.A., for the Professional Lobbying Services, RFQ No. 2019/2020-A14 to be
extended for an additional two (2)year term.

Dear Mr. Dawson:
The above referenced contract is scheduled to expire on October 6,2024. The contract terms allow
for a renewal period of 24-months,contingent upon the mutual agreement of both parties. The Clay County
Utility Authority(CCUA)is hereby providing written notice of interest in renewing the existing contract for
an additional 24-month period,continuing from October 7,2024,through October 6,2026.Any requested
price adjustments should accompany this letter for the contract renewal. Please notify CCUA by 5:00 P.M
(EDT) on August 21, 2024 and advise if you agree and would like to renew the existing contract for the
additional 24-months by signing and dating this letter returning it to my attention.
CCUA appreciates your cooperation. We look forward to continuing business with you and your
organization in the coming years.
