Justification for the request: After installation of the Effluent Pump Panel and attempted start up, it was discovered there were additional items added to the panel by the plant operators. These changes were not updated as part of the as-builts that were provided for the new panel to be installed. This required an additional 37 days to trace down the wires and figure out what was needed. In addition, the Effluent Pump Station Wire Replacement approved as Change Order No. 3 required an additional 43 days. Due to these circumstances PSCC is requesting an additional 80 days for substantial completion. PCSS has provided a time extension request due to additional work needed for the installation and start-up of the Effluent Pump Panel. An additional 80 days have been requested to be added to the contract time. PCSS Change Order No. 04 Summary: • Due to the additional investigation needed to resolve the installation and start-up issues with the Effluent Pump Panel an additional 37-days is requested. • In regard to the Effluent Pump Station Wire Replacement approved under Change Order No. 03 an additional 43-days is requested. Jones Edmunds has reviewed PCSS Proposed Change Order and the provided supporting documentation and determines that the proposed contract time request is acceptable. Schedule The Current Substantial completion is at 556-days (July 19, 2024) and final completion is at 616-days (September 17, 2024). With this approved Change Order, the new Substantial Completion is 636-days (October 7, 2024) and the new Final Completion is 696-days (December 6, 2024.) Budget There is no fiscal change involved with this change order.
