Hi Ashley,
Thank you for your response.
Inclusion of the Lend-A-Helping Hand program into the compilation would have no degree of involvement or
expectations other than confirmation that the program is okay to highlight in the compilation and that details on
the website are up to date. To ensure the program is accurately reflected in the compilation, details will be pulled
directly from and reference information publicly available on the website.
The scope/audience is water utilities or anyone who may find information about different Customer Assistance
Programs helpful. Ultimately we aim to compile information of different and unique programs into one location as
a referential resource.
Feel free to reach out with any additional questions or comments.
Best,
Addison Chau

Dear Mrs. Chau,
I.
Thank you for reaching out and for considering our Lend-A-Helping-Hand program for inclusion in the
Environmental Protection Agency's compilation of Customer Assistance Programs.
At this time, I can confirm that the information on our Customer Assistance Programs webpage is
current. I would be the appropriate point of contact for any further communication, and our
environmental compliance expert, Heather Webber , is also available to assist if needed (CC'd here).
We would appreciate additional information regarding what participation in this compilation would
involve, including the intended scope, level of involvement, and any expectations of contributing
utilities. With that information, we will be better positioned to determine our potential level of
engagement.
Thank you again for your inquiry. We look forward to learning more.
Sincerely,
Ashley Taliaferro

Good morning, My name is Addison Chau and I work out of EPA Headquarters in
Questions or
Washington, DC. EPA is creating a compilation of water infrastructure Customer
Comments:
Assistance Programs to demonstrate the different programs that exist across water
utilities and ways that water utilities help communities through those programs.
Another goal of this compilation is to show to other utilities what they can do for their
2
own programs. Is there interest for the Lend-A-Helping-Hand program to be part of this
compilation? If there is, are the details on your"Customer Assistance Programs"
website up to date? Is there other information that should be included? Finally, please
let me know if there is a direct contact that is more appropriate to reach out to. Thank
you, Addison
