September is also the peak of hurricane season when we historically experience the most BIRTHDAYS severe storms. Please continue to monitor weather forecasts and take precautions to stay safe. I am pleased to share that Darrell Damrow, PE, has SUMMER BERNDT- 1ST been promoted to Chief Engineer. Darrell joined CCUA ANGELIA WILSON - 3RD in 2012 and brings extensive knowledge of our systems, SHAWN MCKINNEY - 3RD models, and policies. He is also pursuing his Master's Degree in Engineering Management. Please join me in JINA SMITH - 6TH congratulating Darrell on this well-deserved JOSEPH DEAN - 8TH promotion. CHAD LEBLANC - 9TH You may also notice new faces in our hallways. Our CHRIS NAZWORTH - 10TH partners from The Scarlett Group are here helping us RITA MATTI-COLES - 10TH strengthen IT leadership and provide technical expertise. Be sure to say hello and introduce yourself CRAIG RUIS - 12TH when you see Jay, Eric, Bruce, Sarah, or Tyler. MELISA BLANEY - 13TH Looking ahead to October, we will host CCUA's first SHANE JOURDAN - 17TH Employee Appreciation and Training Day. On Monday, DYLAN MOORE - 18TH October 13th the office will be closed as we gather DAMES BLUM - 19TH together for a day of team building, training, and appreciation. This remains a required workday, so MASON DEJNO - 22ND please plan your schedules accordingly. We are looking FADHL HAZIM - 24TH forward to a day of connection and fun. DAVID DEESE - 26TH Finally, CCUA is moving forward with a modernized PATRICK HUTZLER - 28TH website and a new employee intranet, led by Ashley RAY DAVIS - 28TH Taliaferro. This effort will give us improved tools for communication, including near real-time updates and resources to keep everyone connected. Thank you all for your dedication and great work every day.
