Proposed Approval of the Brass Fittings Contract Renewal with Ferguson US Holdings, Inc.

BACKGROUND:
The Brass Fittings contract with Ferguson US Holdings, Inc., is scheduled to expire on December
5, 2025. However, the terms of this contract allow for the renewal of an additional one (1) year
term, contingent upon mutual agreement of both parties. Ferguson US Holdings, Inc., has
expressed interest in renewing the contract with a requested price increase. Per the Contract, if
both parties agree to renew the agreement, CCUA may consider a price increase during either of
the renewal years based on verifiable market changes. Staff reviewed and determined that the
current rates remain consistent with prevailing market conditions.
BUDGET IMPACT:
The Distribution& Collections Department budgeted an annual amount of$300,000.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors approve the contract renewal for the Brass
Fittings Contract, ITB #20/21-A20, with Ferguson US Holdings, Inc., to be extended for an
additional one (1)year term with rate increase.
