Proposed Renewal for the Professional Service Agreement with PACE Analytical Services, LLC.
(PACE) for Laboratory Services.

BACKGROUND:
The Professional Service Agreement with PACE is scheduled to expire on December 31, 2025.
The terms of the agreement allow for annual renewals for a period of up to five (5) years,
contingent upon the mutual agreement of both parties. Both parties are interested in renewing the
contract, with no changes to the current pricing.
BUDGET IMPACT:
Staff budgeted$466,865 for Laboratory Services in FY 25/26.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors approve renewal of the Professional Service
Agreement with PACE Analytical Services, LLC. to be extended for an additional one (1) year
term.

Dear Mr. Chaffman:
The above-referenced contract is scheduled to expire on December 31, 2025. However, the terms of this
contract allow for the renewal of an additional year, contingent upon the mutual agreement of both parties.
The new contract period will continue from January 1,2026-December 31,2026. If you wish to continue
the contract under the current terms, please sign, date, and return this letter to us by 5:00 P.M. (EST) on
November 20, 2025, and we will consider this confirmation of acceptance of the current terms as stated
above.
We appreciate your operation and look forward to continuing doing business with you in the coming year.
