Request for Advance Approval to Utilize Other Government Contracts

BACKGROUND:
On September 16, 2025, the Board of Supervisors provided advance approval to procure services
and/or materials utilizing other government contracts for Fiscal Year 2025/2026. The approval did
not include the government contract referenced below.
• Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) of Florida Contract No. 78131804-
17-01 (Document Management Services) — Staff budgeted for the purchase of storage for
physical and electronic records.
As the result of a competitive solicitation, these items are available for purchase through a DMS
contract.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff respectfully request the Board of Supervisors advance approval to utilize DMS Contract No.
78131804-17-01 in Fiscal Year 2025/2026 for planned and budgeted purchases.
