Proposed Approval of Contract Renewal for the Hydro geological and Environmental Professional
Engineering Services RFQ 22/23-A02

BACKGROUND:
The following Continuing Contracts for the Hydrogeological and Environmental Professional
Engineering Services RFQ 22/23-A02, are scheduled to expire on February 6, 2026.
Firm Name Renewal Interest Rate Change
Dewberry Engineering, Inc. Yes None
Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. Yes None
The terms of the contracts allow for the renewal of an additional one (1) year term, contingent
upon the mutual agreement of the parties. Staff contacted each firm to confirm their interest in
renewing the contract, and all firms are interested in renewing with no rate increases.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors approve renewal of Continuing Contracts for
the Hydrogeological and Environmental Professional Engineering Services RFQ 22/23-A02, for
an additional one (1)year term with no rate increases.

The above-referenced contract is scheduled to expire on February 6, 2026. However, the terms of this
contract allow for the renewal of an additional year, contingent upon the mutual agreement of both parties.
The new contract period will continue from February 7,2026,through February 6,2027. If you wish to
continue the contract under the current terms,please sign, date, and return this letter to us by January 26,
2026, and we will consider this confirmation of acceptance of the current terms as stated above.
