Request for Advance Approval to utilize other Government Contracts

BACKGROUND:
On September 16, 2025, the Board of Supervisors provided advance approval to procure services
and/or materials utilizing other government contracts for Fiscal Year 2025/2026. This approval
did not include the government contracts referenced below:
• Department of Management Services (DMS) of Florida State Term Contract No.
15100000-25-STC (Bulk Fuel, Gasoline, Diesel, Marine, and Biodiesel) - Staff
budgeted to purchase Bulk Fuel. As a result of a competitive solicitation, these items are
available for purchase through a DMS State of Florida contract.
• Sourcewell Contract No. 032824-NAF (Class 4-8 Chassis with Related Equipment) -
Staff budgeted to purchase Fleet Equipment. As a result of a competitive solicitation, these
items are available for purchase through a Sourcewell contract.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors advance approval for the utilization of the
above-referenced government contracts for planned and budgeted purchases.
