HomeMy WebLinkAbout06.b.02.a CA SA No. 6 Armstrong LS No. 88 Upgrades EXECUTIVE SUMMARY AGENDA ITEM: Proposed Supplemental Agreement No. 6 to Continuing Services Contract RFQ 2023/2024-A07 with Armstrong Fence Company (Armstrong) for Fencing Supplies and Installation at Lift Station No. 88 Project No: 7025-006 Financial No: 2401ORR Date: April 16,2026 BACKGROUND: On April 16, 2024, the Board of Supervisors approved the Continuing Services Contract with Armstrong for Fencing Supplies and Installation RFQ 2023/2024-A07.This contract provides ongoing maintenance,upkeep and security of CCUA's infrastructure. All of CCUA's systems are essential for maintaining the integrity of our operations and protecting CCUA's assets. With this project, Armstrong will install new fencing at Lift Station No. 88 located at 2985 Ravines Road,Middleburg, enhancing security as outlined in their proposal. FACILITY SCOPE OF WORK 1 COST Lift Station No. 88 188 feet of fencing $14,483.60 BUDGET: Funds for this project will come from the Lift Station 88 Relocation/Upgrades Capital Project. After reviewing Armstrong's proposal, staff determined that the proposed fee of$14,483.60 is reasonable. RECOMMENDATION: Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors'approval of the attached Supplemental Agreement No. 6 to the Continuing Services Contract RFQ 2023/2024-A07 with Armstrong Fence Company for the fencing supplies and installation at Lift Station No. 88.
