Proposed Approval of Contract Extension of the Bio-Solid Treatment Agreement with BCR
Environmental Corporation (BCR)

BACKGROUND:
The current Bio-Solid Treatment Agreement with BCR is scheduled to expire on June 5, 2026.
CCUA is exercising its contractual option to extend the agreement through December 5, 2026,
which represents the final extension permitted under the existing contract terms.
Consistent with this extension, CCUA and BCR mutually agree to extend their piggyback
agreement, maintaining all existing terms, conditions, and pricing established in the original
agreement dated June 6, 2006.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors approve the extension of the Bio-Solid
Treatment Agreement with BCR Environmental Corporation through December 5, 2026, under
the current terms and conditions.

The above-referenced contract is scheduled to expire on June 5, 2026. However, CCUA is offering an
extension of the existing contract through December 5,2026. If you wish to continue the contract under the
current terms, please sign, date, and return this letter to us by May 26, 2026, and we will consider this
confirmation of acceptance of the terms as stated above.
