Under this proposed Supplemental Agreement, TankRehab.com, LLC will provide cleaning and interior repair services for the GST No. 1 at Pace Island WTP, as outlined in the attached proposal. These improvements will extend the useful life of the tank, ensure continued reliable service to the facility and community, and minimize operational disruptions during the work. Staff requested quotes from two (2) qualified contractors under the continuing contract. EVALUATION: Staff received responses to the requests, and the overall pricing is listed below. Staff requests authorization to engage TankRehab.com, LLC,the lowest bidder, to complete the necessary repairs. Bidder Bid Value Received TankRehab.com, LLC $24,800.00 Razorback LLC $119,000.00 BUDGET: Staff budgeted$509,132.00 for subcontractors in the operations renewal &replacement for FY2025/2026. Scope of WorkPace Island 500KG GST I ITEM 22 Glass Lined Tank- Interior Rehabilitation Razorback LLC shall provide all labor,supervision,materials,tools,equipment,consumables,access equipment,and insurance necessary to complete the following interior rehabilitation work for the Pace Island 500KG GST I ITEM 22 Glass Lined Bolted Tank. Scope of Services Interior Surface Preparation • Pressure wash interior surfaces in designated repair areas to remove dirt,debris,contaminants,and loose materials. • Perform abrasive media blasting utilizing Black Beauty blasting media to prepare surfaces for coating application and ensure proper coating adhesion. Interior Seam Gasket Rehabilitation • Prepare second-from-top interior seam gasket areas for coating application. • Apply one(1) prime coat of Tnemec N140 at a dry film thickness(DFT) of 3-5 mils. • Apply one (1)top coat of Tnemec Series 265 (50-80 mils DFT) utilizing trowel application methods over the second-from-top interior seam gaskets to restore watertight integrity and provide long-term protection.
