Good morning Ms. Hayden,
Thank you for sharing your concerns. We understand that many residents care deeply about water use
and the long-term protection of our water resources.
Outdoor watering restrictions and conservation requirements for this region are established by the St.
Johns River Water Management District. During drought conditions, such as those currently affecting our
area, the District may put additional restrictions in place or adjust watering schedules to help protect
regional water supplies.
As for development and commercial growth, CCUA does not approve development projects or determine
which businesses or residential developments are built within Clay County. Those decisions are made
through separate local government and regulatory processes. Once developments are approved within
our service area, CCUA's role is to provide water, wastewater, and reclaimed water services in
accordance with applicable permits and regulations.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
Thank you,
Ashley Taliaferro

I cannot believe the audacity. Selling OUR water to Niagara. In drought conditions. And telling US to conserve. You're bleeding
our Florida dry. The over development will leave Florida with zero water for residents in 20 years time!
Cancel whatever contract it is and take care of the citizens.WE should come first!
