Consumptive Use Permit Holder
Dear Sir/Madam:
On May 11, 2026,the St. Johns River Water Management District(District) issued a Water Shortage
Warning Order(Order) declaring a Phase III extreme water shortage. Hydrologic trends and future rainfall
predictions within the District reflect below-average rainfall and groundwater levels.
As a holder of a District Consumptive Use Permit (CUP),you are encouraged to reduce water use and to
conserve water to the maximum extent possible in accordance with the measures outlined in the
attached Order for your water-use class. Please note, all landscape irrigation is subject to the Landscape
Irrigation and Uses restrictions in the Order, regardless of a permittee's water-use class. Water supply
utilities are requested to notify customers of this Water Shortage Warning Order and the importance of
water conservation.
