BACKGROUND:
The notice of intent to award a sole source procurement to Precision Odor Control was publicly advertised
on CCUA's OpenGov Procurement Portal for a period of seven (7) business days. No responses or
objections were received from other potential vendors during the posting period.
To further ensure compliance and transparency, staff contacted ECOLO Environmental, Inc. to verify its
authorized distributor network. ECOLO Environmental, Inc. confirmed that Precision Odor Control, a
division of Precision Compaction Services, LLC, is the exclusive authorized distributor and service
provider for ECOLO Odor Control products within the geographic territory that includes Clay County,
Florida.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors grant Sole Source status to Precision Odor Control
for the purchase of Odor Control Products and Services.
