Request for advance approval to utilize other government contracts

BACKGROUND:
On September 16, 2025, the Board of Supervisors provided advance approval to procure services
and/or materials utilizing other government contracts for Fiscal Year 2025/2026. The approval did
not include the government contract referenced below.
• Sourcewell Contract No. 021726-VAC Sewer Vacuum, Hydro-Excavation, and
Municipal Pumping Equipment with Related Accessories and Supplies — This contract
covers sewer cleaning, hydro-excavation, industrial vacuum equipment, and related
accessories, supplies, and services. These products and services are available for purchase
through a competitively solicited Sourcewell contract.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors advance approval for utilization of the
Sourcewell Contract No. 021726-VAC in Fiscal Year 2025/2026 for planned and budgeted
purchases.
