We have been repeating the message to stay hydrated and be BIRTHDAYS aware of your condition. Seek shelter and cool down when the heat becomes too much. With heat indexes reaching roughly 110 degrees, hydration and heat awareness are critical to staying safe. JONAH PARSON 2 Clay County schools return on Tuesday, August 11. This ASHLEY TALIAFERRO 11 school year, we'll be welcoming three high school interns as we look forward to another successful year. While MICHAEL ECHELBERGER 30 forecasts have reduced the expected number of storms BEN FREEMAN 31 this season due to El Nino, we should not reduce our preparedness. Storms like Hurricane Andrew occurred in August during an El Nino year. Knowing we perform like we prepare, let's maintain our normal level of preparation and o 0 0 professional diligence during hurricane season. I o Lastly, thank you to everyone who completed the Employee o4-41r Engagement Survey. We greatly appreciate the o constructive and actionable feedback. Based on what we heard, we are looking at different approaches to future Employee Engagement Surveys. With our new employee intranet website going live, we are also looking at ways to `� engage with staff more regularly and gather the insights �� that are so important to the long-term health of our 41.111.0 organization.
