Under this proposed Supplemental Agreement, TankRehab.com, LLC will provide repair services for the GST No. 2 Glass Lined Tank at Fleming Oaks Water Treatment Plant, as outlined in the attached proposal. These improvements will extend the useful life of the tank, ensure continued reliable service to the facility and community, and minimize operational disruptions during the work. Staff requested quotes from two (2) qualified contractors under the continuing contract. EVALUATION: Staff received responses to the requests, and the overall pricing is listed below. Staff requests authorization to engage TankRehab.com, LLC,the lowest bidder, to complete the necessary repairs. Bidder Bid Value Received TankRehab.com, LLC $105,000.00 Razorback LLC $323,000.00 BUDGET: Staff budgeted$509,132.00 for subcontractors in the operations renewal &replacement for FY2025/2026. Apply one(1)top coat of Tnemec Series 265 (50-80 mils DFT)utilizing trowel application methods overall interior seam gasket areas to restore watertight integrity and provide long-term protection. Nozzles: Surface prep two 13"Cast iron nozzles with a wire wheel. Apply a protective coating to stop corrosion on nozzles. Final Disinfection: Upon completion of all rehabilitation activities,contractor shall perform final tank disinfection utilizing sodium hypochlorite in accordance with applicable potable water industry standards. Exclusions: Unless specifically included by written amendment,the following items are excluded from this scope: Structural steel repairs or replacement outside identified roof hole repairs,Glass-lined panel replacement,Full interior coating replacement outside designated repair areas, Mechanical or electrical modifications,Tank filling or operational startup by Owner,& Bacteriological testing by third-party laboratory.
