The terms of the contracts allow for annual renewals for a period of up to six(6)years, contingent upon the mutual agreement. Staff contacted the Suppliers to determine if there was interest to renew the contracts. Brenntag-Mid South, Inc., Hawkins, Inc. and Polydyne, Inc. are interested in renewing the contracts with no rate increase. Kemira is interested in a contract renewal with a 2%price increase. These amounts are based on usage from the previous fiscal year. RECOMMENDATION: Staff respectfully request the Board of Supervisors to approve the renewal of the Chemical Supplier Contracts, ITB#19/20-A15 to be extended for an additional one-year.
